Stripey Rainbow
I just love love LOVE this design. I was in Wisconsin, just in winter break and had a new set of striper brush paints and was antsy to use them. Practically without unpacking (I had to unpack these of course), I painted my nails nude and then chose to do this colorful design. I did make it up, myself but now realize that it's long been out there... Oh well! I want to get to designing things and being more creative! I just love things you can do on nails but can't practice too often. It's unfortunate but when I get the chance, I go all out.
Bye!!
Water Marble!!!
This picture was taken right after I finished and took off the tape (so yeah it's a bit messy...) but I like it all the same.
To water marble, take a cup, fill with room temperature water, and drop a bunch of nail polish colors in it. A bunch of people make this fancy design with a toothpick but I'm the opposite. I wanted to go for a paint splattered look so I dropped a bunch of bright colors in it and swirled it around. I also didn't wait for the polish to dry on the surface of the water to clean it up. I just pulled my finger back up! To do this, if I still didn't like the design, I'd re-dip.

This is my other hand although I don't like it as much. The whole thing together, however, has a fun color scheme for Easter!
If you ever attempt this, don't worry so much about getting it perfectly right but have some fun! I would recommend placing your taped finger through a line of a few colors and don't waste paint by cleaning it up before you pull out (for that paint splatter effect).
Enjoy this fun design and Happy Easter!!
